Sunbay Resort, Lake Hamilton

The resort offers stunning lake views and spacious accommodations, making for a relaxing stay. However, the interiors are quite dated, and some areas need maintenance. The staff is mostly friendly, which adds to the overall experience, but noise from other guests can be an issue at night.

The resort has some lovely aspects, especially its breathtaking lake views and engaging family activities that truly enhance the overall experience. However, my stay was marred by a disappointing room with outdated decor and some cleanliness issues. While the facilities were well-kept, the dining options lacked variety, making it less than ideal at times.

The resort is situated in a prime area, close to attractions and offering lovely views of Lake Hamilton. The accommodations are clean and spacious, although some units show signs of aging. While the staff is helpful and friendly, the dining experience could benefit from more variety in the menu. Overall, the amenities are well-kept and enjoyable, making for a reasonable stay despite a few drawbacks.

During my stay, I found the scenery at the resort beautifully picturesque with stunning lake views that really enriched the experience. Our unit was cozy, thanks to the charming wood furnishings and decent layout. However, the lack of drapes in the master bedroom made mornings a bit challenging, and the cleanliness of the common areas left something to be desired. The nearby health club was a fantastic bonus, which my wife took full advantage of. Overall, while there are great aspects, some maintenance and upkeep could improve the experience further.

My stay at SunBay was a mix of highs and lows. While the beautiful grounds and lake views were a delight, the initial room was cramped and uncomfortably noisy due to the A/C. Fortunately, the staff eventually moved us to a better room, which improved the experience significantly. Overall, the accommodations could use some updates, but the location and amenities were decent.
